Hume Cement Industries Berhad observed an early celebration of the 65th National Day with various brief but meaningful activities for its employees across the whole company.

For example, employees based at its Petaling Jaya HQ had a fun T-shirt designing contest in which participants decorated plain white T-shirts with Merdeka-inspired elements. Over in the cement plant in Gopeng, Perak, employees raised the 'Jalur Gemilang' at their weekly briefing.
